Recommended actions on impacted Wisdom Teeth growing in the wrong direction

Wisdom teeth for young and older adults can be a real pain and can cause misery for many. They are located at the very back of the mouth and normally begin to show themselves from 18 years and onwards. The problem is though, most people’s jaws aren’t large enough to take these additional teeth and therefore they can become impacted.

If the impacted wisdom teeth are looking like they’re growing in the wrong direction or are misaligned, wisdom tooth extraction maybe be necessary because the wisdom teeth could grow into the jawbone or push the already established molars forward, making it incredibly painful for the person.

Fortunately for many dentists throughout the UK, impacted wisdom teeth are much easier to extract than wisdom teeth which haven’t yet grown in. This is because these type of molars have already established themselves and no minor surgery is required on the back of the mouth.
